NSV!!!

I had such a great NSV that I just have to post about it and maybe will post some pics later if I can get some taken. For those of you unfamiliar with the term "NSV" it stands for "non scale victory" something that happens that isn't related to a number on the scale but makes you feel fantastic.

My pants have been getting a weee bit loose these days and it was starting to be at the point where I was seriously contemplating getting a couple new pairs to tide me over for a while longer. Prior to surgery I was wearing a size 26 (or in some cases a 28) for pants and about a 3x for tops. Yesterday I tried on and bought two pairs of pants in size... 22!! I couldn't believe it. When I was grabbing some jeans and other pants I grabbed pretty much all size 24's except for two pairs I grabbed the 24's and 22's for some reason. I tried on the 22's first and was like "OH DAMN THEY FIT!!" and I didn't even bother going and looking for 22's in the other styles that I grabbed 24's in .. I took these ones and ran (one pair of jeans and one pair of brown pants). They had a couple of cute cotton 3/4 length sleeve t-shirt type shirts as well that I picked up in a size 1x!!! Talk about a feel good shopping trip. Oh, I bought some smaller undies too but I don't think anyone needs the details on those! haha.

I promise to start posting more soon once life gets a bit more sorted out/smoother. And I also promise to respond to any emails that I have received lately that I haven't had a chance to answer yet. It's not that I don't want to hear from you or respond to you - just have to get caught up/settled in life and I will get at it I swear - bear with me!
